Vigigo: A New Ambition for Security Operations

Built on 20 years of service operations experience, Vigigo enters a new phase. Security and aviation expertise work together in a stronger range for teams on the ground and across sites.

For 20 years, Ozion has developed software for service operations across aviation and security. These fields share practical demands: keeping services running, coordinating teams, recording what happens and responding quickly on the ground. Work in each area informs the other through projects with our clients and partners in France and internationally.

Today, we are setting a new ambition for Vigigo. We are strengthening the product range and investing in technology, drawing on expertise that runs across both fields and on relationships built with our security clients. Our aim is to help officers, service providers and client organizations coordinate their work, track service quality and develop their operations with tools built for what happens on site.

A strong foundation, with international reach

Ozion is an independent French software company with 20 years of experience building software for service operations. Today, we work across three complementary areas: passenger assistance with Vialto, ground handling operations with Viargo and security with Vigigo.

  • 20 years of experience in operations software
  • 50% of our team works in development in France
  • Solutions developed and hosted in France
  • Offices in Vaucresson, near Paris, and in New York
  • Projects and deployments in France and internationally

Between global vendors and local specialists

The security software market often presents two very different models: large international vendors with the scale to support complex deployments, and smaller French providers valued for their proximity, agility, and local market knowledge. Ozion is deliberately positioned at the intersection of those two strengths.

Our ambition is to combine the responsiveness, accessibility and adaptability of an independent French software company with the technical depth and deployment capability required for multisite and multi-country operations. We can work closely with each organization, understand its constraints, adapt quickly to real operational processes and keep improving the product alongside its teams, while supporting complex operations in France and internationally.

Teams close to the product, decisions made quickly

Half of our team works in development in France. When a need is identified in the field, it can reach the people building the product directly. That structure allows us to move quickly when operations change, when a new process needs to be integrated or when an urgent situation demands a response.

Our solutions are also hosted in France, providing a clear framework for organizations that place importance on data location and control.

Security and aviation: expertise that works across both

On a security site or in an airport, teams need to know what is happening, who is responding and what still needs to be done. Mission planning, incident follow-up, documented checks and coordination between the field and management run through our three areas of work.

This cross-sector experience moves Vigigo forward: methods tested in complex airport operations strengthen our security solutions, while our work alongside security officers and providers shapes how we build useful tools for the field. Each operation has its own processes, and the lessons travel between our teams.

One source of information, three levels of action

A security service brings together people with different responsibilities: on-site teams, the service provider managing delivery and the client organization accountable for quality. Vigigo gives each of them access to the same field information, with a view designed for their role.

SafePoint: the site, in real time

SafePoint structures day-to-day site operations: missions, instructions, patrols, checks and shift starts. On mobile, officers can review procedures, complete checkpoints, report an event or anomaly and confirm completed actions. The command center keeps track of the day’s missions, live events and actions still to close.

Incidents can be classified and followed through to closure, with severity levels and response procedures attached. SafePoint also covers key management and regulatory checks, with time-stamped history and proof of completion. In practical terms, it gives field teams clearer instructions, better situational awareness and traceability that supervisors can actually use.

OpsControl: for management, staying on top of service delivery

OpsControl helps managers and service providers compare plan versus actual: working time, shift starts, scheduled shifts, missions and post coverage. It also brings forward open anomalies, active incidents and outstanding actions, so teams can see earlier what needs attention.

The module also connects delivery back to service commitments. SLAs, quality checks and indicators help track performance, while daily and activity reports are built from recorded operations. That gives managers a concrete basis for running the service, explaining the actions taken and having a fact-based conversation with the client.

OneVision: for clients and leadership, seeing beyond a single site

OneVision brings together the information needed to steer performance: activity, resources, service quality, commitments and indicators. Views adapt to the organization, from a single site to branch, regional or national level, making it easier to compare performance and see where the same gaps or trends keep appearing.

Consolidated dashboards and reports put production, quality and productivity into context. With DataTrust, analysis is based on recorded operational activity, harmonized methods and shared information between management and the client. The point is not more reporting for its own sake, but better decisions about where to act, what resources to deploy and what to improve next.

Beyond these three modules, Vigigo can be extended with additional capabilities, including visitor and reception management, depending on the organization’s needs.

Vigigo in the field

At Roissy, our collaboration of more than fifteen years with Air France Cargo shows how an electronic logbook can evolve alongside patrols, checks and the demands of a large cargo site. Read Xavier Bryche’s interview

What’s next for Vigigo

We have been developing Vigigo alongside our security clients and partners for years. Now we are stepping up that work with a broader product range, greater investment and a stronger presence in France, backed by multisite projects, international experience and our New York office.

We want to keep working the way we always have: close to the teams using the product, with software that adapts to the way operations actually run. The difference is that Vigigo is now broader and better equipped to grow with clients as they add sites, expand their scope or operate across countries.
